The Adamant
The Adamant is a first-person puzzle-exploration game that takes place in the year 2083. On behalf of NASA, a team of scientists and former military personnel are performing research on an indestructible material - called The Adamant - on Europa, one of Jupiter's moons. Outside the research site, they found and established control of an alien robot. Using this android, they manage to penetrate The Adamant and discover an unimaginable alien facility. Ecstatic about their discovery, they set out to discover the purpose and creators of this mysterious world.
In The Adamant, players can fire positive and negative energy to interact with the game world. Throughout the game, players will encounter a large variety of puzzle objects that will each react differently to the energy. The game includes a large amount of unique puzzles, an extensive narrative and a great deal of exploration.
The Adamant was created by a team of around ten students during the first five months, and around 25 students and externals in the following half year. During the project I was active as Narrative Design Lead and Producer.

Narrative Design:

- Creating the narrative structure
- Writing a story treatment, character bible and game world outline
- Scriptwriting and creating narrative flow charts
- Task management
- Serve as Scrum Master
- Conflict management
- Organise and preside meetings & intake interviews
- Publisher relations
